Area of Responsibility

The Software Developer will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and enhancing the Stævneplanner (Tournament Planner) web application. This role requires expertise in .NET development, particularly in Visual Basic, to support the app’s performance, scalability, and user satisfaction. The developer will work closely with the team to address customer needs and ensure smooth app operation.

Job areas

• Develop and implement features for the Tournament Planner web app, focusing on user-friendly interfaces and robust back-end solutions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the existing .NET Visual Basic codebase to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for new features and improvements.
• Conduct code reviews and implement best practices to ensure high-quality code and project sustainability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to the team’s roadmap and technical decisions.

Success criteria

• Delivery of reliable and maintainable code that meets customer expectations and app requirements.
• Smooth integration of new features and timely resolution of app bugs and performance issues.
• Demonstration of ownership over assigned tasks and clear communication of progress and blockers.
• Positive contributions to the app’s usability, stability, and scalability.

Reporting

Reports to the local Tech Manager and collaborates directly with the customer on project deliverables.

Professional qualifications

• Strong proficiency in .NET development, with specific experience in Visual Basic.
